Weldcraft to Showcase TIG Torches, Accessories at the 2012 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh
APPLETON, Wis. June 19, 2012 — Weldcraft announced it plans to attend the 2012 EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, July 23 to 29 and will share booth numbers 52-54 with Miller Electric Mfg. Co. Weldcraft will display its TIG torches and accessories designed to improve quality, flexibility and performance on critical aviation applications. The company will also have personnel available to answer product and welding questions.
Weldcraft and Miller will be partnering to provide live demonstrations with the Miller Diversion™ 180 AC/DC TIG machine and the Dynasty® 200 DX inverter machine, which will feature the new WP-280 water-cooled TIG torch. The WP-280 TIG torch features a two-piece torch head with Weldcraft’s exclusive Super Cool™ Technology that increases cooling efficiency and capacity. The torch body includes an anti-rotation feature and multi-position locking to prevent handle movement during welding and improve operator control.
Additional products to be displayed at the show include:
• AK-150 and AK-225 Modular Flex Component (MFC) Kits: These kits allow welding operators to customize their torches for their specific application, saving time, money and the hassle of changing over torches.
• Expanded line of tungsten electrodes: This full line of tungsten electrodes now includes 2 percent lanthanated, a common variety for critical aviation applications due to its excellent arc starting and stability, and its ability to resist tip erosion.
