Weldcraft to Attend FABTECH International/AWS Welding Show 2010
APPLETON, Wis. July 20, 2010-Weldcraft announced it will attend the FABTECH International/AWS Welding Show 2010 in Atlanta, November 2 to 4 at the Georgia World Congress Center. The company will share Booth #6811 in Hall C with Miller Electric Mfg. Co. There, Weldcraft will display TIG torches and accessories specifically designed to improve productivity and lower costs on fabricating and manufacturing applications. Weldcraft personnel will also be available to provide product and welding solution recommendations to booth visitors.
Products to be showcased include Weldcraft’s WP-225 Modular Flex-Neck Torch Package, AK-225MFC and AK-150MFC (Modular Flex Complete) Kits, a complete line of tungsten electrodes and the Triad tungsten grinder.
Weldcraft’s WP-225 Modular Flex-Neck Torch Package allows welding operators to customize a single water-cooled TIG torch into multiple configurations and features interchangeable components that also help minimize parts inventory and lower the associated costs. Adding Weldcraft’s AK-225MFC (Modular Flex Complete) Kit allows welding operators to customize the WP-225 Modular Flex-Neck Torch into an additional five torch styles. The kit includes collets, collet bodies, tungsten, alumina and lava nozzles, and five torch heads (9-90, 9P, 24, 1726P & 24-90). Similarly, Weldcraft’s AK-150MFC Kit converts a standard Weldcraft WP-17 Series air-cooled TIG torch into 28 different torch styles while still using the existing cable.
Weldcraft’s complete line of tungsten electrodes include pure, 2% ceriated, 2% thoriated, 1.5% lanthanum and rare earth types in 7-inch industry-standard lengths. The tungsten electrodes are available in diameters of 0.040-, 1/16-, 3/32-, 1/8- and 5/32-inches. Weldcraft’s tungsten electrodes meet exacting AWS (American Welding Society) standards and feature important safety information on each package.
The Triad tungsten grinder features precision-drilled entries that accommodate six different tungsten electrode diameters-0.040, 1/16, 5/64, 3/32, 1/8 and 5/32 inch-and offers four different grinding angles (15º, 18º, 22.5º and 30º). The Triad tungsten grinder also provides welding operators with the accuracy and versatility needed to prepare tungsten for both orbital and hand-held TIG applications.
