Weldcraft High-Capacity TIG Torch Minimizes Downtime
APPLETON, Wis. August 25, 2008-For demanding high amperage applications, Weldcraft offers its WP-12 water-cooled TIG torch. The WP-12 TIG torch has been designed to withstand such applications without overheating, minimizing unnecessary downtime and improving operator comfort. It is rated at 500 amps at 100 percent duty cycle for DC TIG welding applications.
Like other Weldcraft WP Series TIG torches, the WP-12 features 100% copper construction to ensure maximum thermal conductivity, reliable arc starting and consistent TIG welding performance. Heavy-duty components and an efficient sealed water chamber add to the WP-12’s durability by withstanding high temperatures even during continuous duty applications.
Weldcraft offers 12.5- or 25-foot power cable assemblies, along with cable covers that help protect against job site damage. An AK-7 accessory kit is also available for the WP-12 and includes additional collets, collet bodies, nozzles, back caps and tungsten.
