Weldcraft Water-Cooled Torches Minimize Overheating and Costly Downtime
APPLETON, Wis. November 29, 2007—Weldcraft offers its WP-18 series water-cooled TIG torches for high-amperage, continuous duty welding applications. Available in four styles, these torches each feature a unique cooling design that minimizes overheating and costly downtime associated with it.
In addition to their superior cooling capacity, the hand-held torch models (WP-18, WP-18V, WP-18SP) feature comfortably designed handles that help improve torch control and prevent operator fatigue and/or discomfort. The WP-18V torch model includes a built-in gas control valve that provides operators with a quick and easy control of shielding gas flow. These WP-18 hand-held torch models are all rated at 350 amps DC and 100 percent duty cycle.
For demanding mechanized applications, the series includes the WP-18P torch, which features a sleek pencil-style design and is rated at 500 amps DC and 100 percent duty cycle.
All WP-18 series torches have optional cable covers, power cable adapters and extension kits available.
